Clinical nutrition represents a therapeutic approach to health using a combination of dietary adjustments, supplementation, exercise and lifestyle coaching.
Homoeopathy is a holistic modality that identifies a symptom picture. Illnesses can present with unique characteristics. A headache might be throbbing or shooting worse on waking and better for sleep. There are many headache remedies, a clear description will clarify the prescription.
As well as 23 years teaching yoga classes I also work with individuals and small groups doing yoga therapy. We address chronic conditions, relaxation and fitness. Individual needs are explored.
Find Your Balance
Each person is a universe to be explored and understood.
Pain, anxiety and all aspects of disease are markers or signs that tell us that the body is not in balance (homoeostasis).
Homoeopathy embraces the whole person, likes and dislikes, sensitivities, hopes and fears as well as the mind and body (psychophysiology) being one.
Julia’s journey in the healing arts began in the 1980s while she was studying classical music. She explored both remedial and energy massage, nutrition and also participated in a range of self-development and healing workshops. She subsequently began intensive Yoga training which led to 20 years as a Yoga Teacher.
During this time Julia became fascinated with homoeopathy observing that joint pain such as arthritis, could be greatly relieved by specific homoeopathic medicines. Studying nutritional medicine and homoeopathy has allowed Julia to balance her own health and has provided great insight into humanity and science.
As a mother, homeopathic medicine was the mainstay for childhood complaints such as teething, coughs, colds and bumps.
Thus, a passion for homoeopathy was integrated into nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
