Physiotherapist/Clinical Pilates Instructor
Mia has worked on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for 25 years. The last 15 years exercise rehabilitation has been an integral part of her work , while continuing to to provide regular Physiotherapy treatments.
Exercise rehabilitation has helped people of all different ages manage or overcome many different types of injuries , either chronic or acute. Neurological and other movement disorders also respond well.
Improving balance, core stability and strength and improving mobility is a key feature. Exercises are not necessarily strenuous. Reformer, trapeze table, and plat-former are some of the equipment that is used in the exercise sessions.
After an initial consultation, sessions are available on an individual basis or a group of not more than 3 people. Each person has their own specific exercise programme and is fully supervised even if in a group.
Initial, individual or group sessions are all claimable through private health insurance as physiotherapy.

Increase Your Strength
You can strengthen muscles at any age. In doing so you improve not only the strength but also the stability and tone of the entire musculo-skeletal system. Clinical Pilates with a physiotherapist ensures that the exercise programs are specific to the individual, without overloading muscles and joints.
Mia keeps active by sailing, playing golf and walking and of course, doing Clinical Pilates.
