Caring for Your Child’s Growing Body
As a chiropractor, a key aspect of my clinical best practice is developing a personalised treatment plan for each child. This involves not only addressing their specific conditions and symptoms, but also taking into consideration factors such as your child’s age and their level of physical development.
It is also important to involve a child’s parents in the treatment process and educate them on proper care for their child’s condition. In addition to manual adjustments, I often incorporate other modalities such as massage therapy and exercise into the treatment plan for greater effectiveness.
Above all, my top priority in clinical practice is ensuring the safety and well-being of my young patients. It is imperative to carefully monitor their progress and make any necessary adjustments to their treatment plan.
By following these practices, I am able to provide the most effective and comprehensive care for my paediatric patients.
The major conditions that parents bring kids in for include:
- Scoliosis
- Kyphosis or humping
- Un level shoulders
- Forward head carriage
- A range of different postural concerns.
